Two incidences of non-compliance were found relating to Heinz’s two products, both of which appeared to be parallel imports. Their labels lacked a number of elements required by the Indian regulation (e.g. the age of introduction was listed as ‘from 4 months’ and required wording was missing). No examples of informational or educational materials produced by the company were found, nor any forms of promotion in ‘bricks and mortar’ retail or online stores.
