ATNI views civil society organizations as critical stakeholders. These organizations represent the needs and views of different groups of people and can bring extensive experience and insight to ATNI. Many will share ATNI’s goals and approach, while others may not. Nevertheless, ATNI is committed to understanding a wide range of perspectives and aims to build consensus around key areas of the access to nutrition agenda.
To date, ATNI has engaged with many such organizations around the world. Several are represented on ATNI’s Independent Advisory Panel, Expert Group and Board of Directors. Others took part in ATNI’s stakeholder consultations held in person and online over the last three years. Their input throughout the ATNI development process was helpful in designing the Index so as to be a useful tool for these organizations.
