ATNF views civil society organizations as critical stakeholders. These organizations represent the needs and views of different groups of people and can bring extensive experience and insight to ATNF. Many will share ATNF’s goals and approach, while others may not. Nevertheless, ATNF is committed to understanding a wide range of perspectives and aims to build consensus around key areas of the access to nutrition agenda.
To date, ATNF has engaged with many such organizations around the world. Several are represented on ATNI’s Independent Advisory Panel, Expert Group and Board of Directors. Others took part in ATNF’s stakeholder consultations held in person and online over the last three years. Their input throughout the ATNI development process was helpful in designing the Index so as to be a useful tool for these organizations.
